European crypto users are gaining a new layer of protection and service clarity as Revolut, Blockchain.com, and the Swiss app Relai officially secured licenses under the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation.

The licenses, granted by regulators in Cyprus, Malta, and France respectively, mean the firms are fully compliant with the bloc’s new stringent standards. For Revolut’s 65+ million customers, this translates to continued and expanded access to its crypto exchange, Revolut X, across the EEA.

The move signals a shift from the previous patchwork of national VASP registrations to a unified, secure regulatory landscape for digital assets.
