Coinbase Deepens “Everything Exchange” Ambitions with Kalshi Prediction Markets

Coinbase is moving decisively into the burgeoning prediction market arena through a strategic partnership with regulated platform Kalshi.

Leaked images reveal the development of a dedicated, Coinbase-branded website for the service, which will be offered through its derivatives arm, Coinbase Financial Markets, leveraging Kalshi’s established regulatory framework.

This initiative solidifies a partnership announced in November, where Coinbase became the custodian for Kalshi’s USDC-based event contracts.

The new platform, as shown in screenshots, will allow users to trade on outcomes in politics, economics, sports, and more using either US dollars or USDC. The move represents a key step in Coinbase’s stated strategy to evolve into a comprehensive “everything exchange” for its users.
