CME Group plans to launch futures on Bitcoin Cash (BCH) and Uniswap (UNI) on 19 October, subject to regulatory approval.

The exchange will offer both standard and Micro contracts. The standard contracts will cover 250 BCH and 10,000 UNI, while the Micro contracts will cover 25 BCH and 1,000 UNI.

The new products will expand CME’s range of single-asset crypto derivatives. The exchange already offers futures on Bitcoin, Ether, XRP, Solana, Cardano, Chainlink, Stellar, Avalanche and Sui.

Giovanni Vicioso, CME Group’s global head of cryptocurrency products, said the new contracts would give market participants more regulated tools to manage digital asset price risk and gain exposure to the underlying networks.

CME said the contracts are designed to offer greater flexibility and capital efficiency through its regulated market, which operates around the clock.
