Fairshake plans $30 million campaign against Sherrod Brown

Fairshake plans to spend $30 million opposing Democrat Sherrod Brown’s bid to return to the US Senate, according to the PAC.

The crypto-focused political action committee confirmed reports that it initially plans to spend $30 million against Brown in Ohio. Fairshake said it expects to announce further spending before the 3 November midterm elections.

Fairshake spent about $41 million supporting Republican Bernie Moreno and opposing Brown in Ohio’s 2024 Senate race. Brown lost that election to Moreno by about four percentage points after Fairshake and other PACs spent more than $300 million on the race.

The PAC is among several groups backed by the crypto industry seeking to influence key races in the 2026 elections. Fairshake said in August that it had $122 million available ahead of the midterms.
