Kraken Rolls Out Mobile Application in the US

Cryptocurrency exchange Kraken has just announced it has launched its mobile app for retail investors in the US.

The app, which has been available in Europe since the beginning of the year, can now be downloaded from Google Play and the App Store. The minimum investment is $10.

The application is now available in a wide range of countries with a few exceptions: Crimea, Cuba, Iran, Japan, North Korea and Syria. While the app is now available in the US, users from New York and Washington cannot use it, as the exchange does not offer its services in those states.

Kraken has now joined other cryptocurrency exchanges that have their own apps, including Coinbase, which rolled out its first app in 2013.
