NFT Collection Sold Out on Marketplace Art Blocks in an Hour

Artist Monica Rizzolli earned 1,623 ETH (around $5.4 million at the time of the transaction) for the sale of the NFT series “Fragments of an Infinite Field” on the marketplace Art Blocks, The Block reports.

The collection of 1,024 generative images sold on September 13 in less than an hour. The price for individual copies started from 10 ETH.

The main parameter for creating the composition was the seasons, which set the colors and the phenomena depicted in the picture.

Subsequently, some of the collection’s items were resold on the marketplace OpenSea for 69 ETH (around $229,000). The cheapest lot is currently on the secondary market at 13.4 ETH (about $44,500).

According to Etherscan, within hours of the sale, Rizzolli’s wallet received 1,623 ETH in three transactions.

Renowned NFT collectors Cozomo de’ Medici and JDH have spent hundreds of thousands of dollars buying individual paintings.

According to data from Dune Analytics, Art Blocks had the best secondary sales that day.
