Morocco’s Largest Bank Joins RippleNet

Attijariwafa Bank, one of the leading banks in Morocco, is joining Ripple’s payment network RippleNet.

According to the announcement, Attijariwafa Bank’s first priority is to remain a leader in the field of banking. The financial institution seeks to follow innovations to attract more users, including crypto supporters.

The clients of the bank will be able to transfer funds between accounts in various ways from any part of the world.

The manager of Attijariwafa Bank said:

“Attijariwafa Bank has been studying the possibility of its development in an innovative industry for more than 12 months, having previously taken some steps in this direction. The cooperation with RippleNet will allow our users to receive funds quickly and securely.”

A significant percentage of Moroccan citizens live in France, the Netherlands and the UK. Taking this into account, the bank directs its efforts to constantly expand the range of its services to allow the population to make all kinds of transactions, no matter where they reside.
