Citizens of Russia, as well as any individuals residing in the country, are now prohibited from using the Binance P2P service to purchase or sell dollars and euros.

Meanwhile, EU citizens are no longer able to conduct ruble transactions. When such transactions are attempted, the exchange prompts the user to switch to a local currency.

This policy follows a temporary suspension of operations involving hryvnia bank cards, which is a result of Binance’s intensified battle against illegal gambling.

According to a Binance spokesperson:

“Users can choose other available fiat currencies to continue using P2P.”
