The process of obtaining approval for Ethereum ETFs is well underway, with attention now turning to the S-1 forms.

The 19b-4 forms were approved on May 23, leaving only the effective date of the S-1 forms as the final hurdle before trading can begin.

Despite the unexpected change in direction from the SEC, progress is now being made. Sources familiar with the situation reveal that the SEC requested draft versions of the S-1 filings from issuers by Friday.

After this, the SEC will review and provide initial comments, leading to further amendments. In a quick response after the ETF approvals, VanEck already submitted an amended version of their S-1 form on May 30.

BlackRock followed suit on the same day, stating that their ETF will have an initial seed investment of $10 million.
