Former Coinbase Executive Joins Uniswap Labs as Chief Legal Officer

Uniswap Labs has hired Katherine Minarik, a former legal executive at Coinbase, to serve as its new chief legal officer in anticipation of potential legal battles with government agencies.

Minarik officially assumed her new role on Monday, following the recent announcement from the Securities and Exchange Commission that it may pursue legal action against Uniswap Labs for allegedly violating federal securities laws.

In her statement on X, Minarik expressed her excitement to join the company and contribute to the promising potential of DeFi.

She takes over the position previously held by Marvin Ammori, who announced his plan to transition to a part-time role at the company in November.
