Galaxy Digital Plans to List on Nasdaq
Galaxy Digital, a crypto investment firm currently listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), is preparing to transition to the US-based Nasdaq on May 16, pending approval at its upcoming shareholders’ meeting.
The move follows a strong April performance by several Nasdaq-listed crypto firms after months of market volatility.
CEO Mike Novogratz called the potential listing a milestone that would help the company realize its vision of becoming a gateway for investors into digital assets and AI ecosystems. A special shareholders’ meeting on May 9 will finalize the decision, with Nasdaq’s approval also required.
If approved, Galaxy will trade under the ticker “GLXY” on Nasdaq while maintaining a transition period on the TSX, where it has been listed since July 2020.
