BitGo has obtained regulatory approval to offer digital asset services across the European Union, marking a significant step in its global expansion and highlighting growing institutional interest in the region’s crypto market.

With Germany’s BaFin granting a Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) license to BitGo Europe, the company is positioned to serve both traditional finance and crypto-native firms seeking compliant infrastructure solutions.

According to BitGo, the MiCA license provides the legal framework to operate across the EU’s 27 member states under a unified regulatory standard.

This approval comes as MiCA reshapes the European digital asset landscape, bringing clarity and stability for institutions.
