Crypto asset manager Grayscale is expected to launch the first US spot exchange-traded fund for Chainlink (LINK) this week.
According to Nate Geraci, co-founder of the ETF Institute, Grayscale plans to uplist and convert an existing private Chainlink trust into an ETF. The launch, which Bloomberg Intelligence analysts predict for December 2, signals an acceleration in crypto ETF rollouts.
Last week, Bloomberg’s Eric Balchunas forecast a “steady supply” of over 100 new spot crypto ETFs in the next six months. Grayscale’s move comes as competitor Bitwise also awaits approval for its own LINK fund.
