President Donald Trump has selected former Fed governor Kevin Warsh as his nominee for Federal Reserve Chairman.

The move confirms a dramatic shift in prediction markets, where Warsh’s odds jumped from 39% to as high as 96% within hours before the announcement.

Trump formally revealed his choice on Truth Social, praising Warsh’s credentials and their long-standing relationship. The nominee, known for his crypto-friendly views, currently serves as a fellow at the Hoover Institution, a lecturer at Stanford, and a partner at Duquesne Family Office.

Trump indicated he would make the announcement Friday morning after hinting at the decision during an event Thursday night.
