The New York Mets, a Major League Baseball team based in the New York City borough of Queens, have recently added open-source blockchain network Tezos as an advertised brand at the team’s baseball park Citi Field.
According to the press release shared by the company, as a result of the cooperation, the Tezos brand will be featured on the center field scoreboard as well as around the ballpark.
We should take into consideration that Tezos is a blockchain network used by organizations around the world because of the powerful options it offers. Some of the organizations using the Tezos blockchain include Formula One racing teams Red Bull Racing Honda and McLaren Racing, the ECB and Ubisoft.
Mark Soares, Founder and CMO of Blokhaus, said:
“Citi Field is one of the most recognizable sporting venues in the New York region. As more people learn about blockchain everyday, the Mets and Citi Field are amazing properties to introduce Tezos to New Yorkers.”
