Solana Opens Pre-orders for its Saga Smartphone

Solana Labs has just started to accept pre-orders for the Web3-centric Saga smartphone from users in 33 countries.

Users interested in getting on the waiting list need to make a deposit of $100, which can be returned in case of refusal. The final price of the smartphone, which is based on Android, is $1,000.

Deliveries are expected in early 2023. The first deliveries will be made to the US, Canada, EU, UK, Switzerland, Australia and New Zealand. However, Solana has said it will consider other countries in the future.

The users on the waiting list will be eligible for the NFT Saga Pass and a ticket to influence the development of the Solana Mobile Stack platform.

The device will support the Google Play app store.
