Last week, financial giants like BlackRock released crypto ETFs investing in Bitcoin.

According to BlackRock CEO Larry Fink in an interview with CNBC, the company is also planning to launch spot ETFs for ether soon.

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is currently reviewing applications from various potential issuers.

The introduction of a new instrument on the American stock market is expected to accelerate the process of tokenization of real assets.

Fink believes that institutional investors are interested in this development. Despite this, Fink has doubts about Bitcoin and Ethereum becoming widely accepted as means of payment. Instead, he sees them as instruments for capital accumulation.

Fink also pointed out that unlike gold, BTC has a limited supply, which could make it more attractive to investors.
