Kraken Debuts US Stocks and ETFs Trading

Kraken has launched a new feature allowing select US users to buy and sell US stocks and ETFs directly through the Kraken app, commission-free.

This strategic move supports the company’s mission to break down financial barriers and provide an integrated trading platform for various needs.

With this launch, Kraken steps into the world of traditional finance, enhancing its offerings by including over 11,000 US securities, such as stocks and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).

Currently, the service is available to customers in New Jersey, Connecticut, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Idaho, Iowa, Rhode Island, Kentucky, Alabama, and the District of Columbia.

Kraken plans to gradually expand access to other states and eventually reach international markets such as the United Kingdom, Europe, and Australia.
