Community Gaming, an all-in-one platform offering esports infrastructure to all key stakeholders in the industry, has partnered with Polygon to allow tournament organizers to deploy their esports tournaments onto the Polygon network.
Thanks to the cooperation, Community Gaming tournament organizers will be able to leverage the Polygon premier Ethereum scaling solution, which operates over 5M daily transactions and has 800k unique users.
The first tournaments to be deployed on the Polygon Network are Gods Unchained tournament and an Axie Infinity tournament. Players taking part in these tournaments compete every month for prize pools denominated in tokens like ETH, MATIC and stablecoin USDC.
The association between Polygon and Community Gaming comes shortly after Community Gaming raised $2.3 million from investors such as CoinFund, Animoca Brands, Dapper Labs, Multicoin Capital, Mark Pincus’ WorkPlay Ventures, Signum Growth Capital and Kevin Durant’s ThirtyFive Ventures.
