LOUD-affiliated Startup SNACKCLUB Attracts $9 Million

Startup SNACKCLUB, which is affiliated with the Brazilian esports team LOUD, has closed a $9 million seed funding round.

The funds raised from Mechanism and other investors will be used to launch the DAO with a focus on “redefining ownership in games.”

The round has also included Animoca Brands, Ascension Assets, Formless Capital, Jump Crypto, OP Crypto and Shima Capital.

The objective of SNACKCLUB is to educate gamers in developing countries about the coming GameFi era and its possibilities. The project creators have emphasized the new format could have a real impact on the incomes and lives of people in Latin America and Southeast Asia.
