Meta Integrates NFTs on Facebook

Meta Corporation, Facebook’s parent company, has expanded a pilot project for the integration of non-fungible tokens to the social network Facebook.

According to the announcement:

“We have made it possible for people to post the digital collectibles they own on both Facebook and Instagram.”

The company has said that this will allow users to “connect their digital wallet to any app” to share NFTs.

Meta launched in May a pilot project to integrate NFT into Instagram. Selected users were allowed to set non-fungible tokens as their profile photo.
