Cryptocurrency bank SEBA, which is located in Switzerland, has undergone a rebranding and is now known as Amina Bank AG.

This change “represents a new chapter” for the company, according to a press release.

The company stated that the rebranding reflects Amina’s vision of constant change and the integration of traditional, digital, and cryptocurrency banking.

The goal of this transformation is to shape the financial future of its clients. Representatives clarified that the operations of the bank will remain the same, but the Abu Dhabi branch and subsidiaries in Hong Kong and Singapore will apply for a name change to match the new name of the Zug headquarters.

In the past, Amina Bank has received preliminary approval from the SFC to conduct digital asset-related activities in Hong Kong.

It should be noted that in early 2022, the bank successfully completed a Series C funding round for CHF 110 million (~$120 million), led by Altive, Ordway Selections, Summer Capital and DeFi Technologies.
